Azienda Agricola Brigaldara is a winery located in the heart of the Valpolicella region in Veneto, Italy. The estate has been producing wine since the 1920s, and today it is run by the fifth generation of the Brigaldara family.
The winery covers 50 hectares, with vineyards located in some of the most prestigious areas of Valpolicella, such as the hills of Marano di Valpolicella, Negrar, San Pietro in Cariano, and Fumane. The vineyards are planted with the traditional grapes of the region, including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara, as well as a small amount of international varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wines of Azienda Agricola Brigaldara are characterized by their elegance, complexity, and balance. The flagship wine of the estate is the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, a rich and full-bodied wine made from dried grapes that is aged for three years in oak barrels. Other notable wines include the Valpolicella Classico Superiore, the Ripasso della Valpolicella Classico Superiore, and the Recioto della Valpolicella Classico, a sweet wine made from dried grapes.
In addition to its production of high-quality wines, Azienda Agricola Brigaldara is also committed to sustainable agriculture practices. The winery uses a variety of techniques to reduce its environmental impact, including the use of cover crops, natural fertilizers, and integrated pest management.
