The Ferrari winery is located in Trento, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, South Tyrol. Ferrari was founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari and has since become one of the most prestigious producers of sparkling wine in Italy. The winery specializes in the production of high-quality Trentodoc wines, made according to the traditional method where the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, similar to Champagne.
Ferrari uses mainly the Chardonnay grape, resulting in elegant, refined sparkling wines that are known worldwide for their finesse and balance. The vines grow in the hills around Trento, at high altitudes, producing fresh, mineral wines with complex aromas of ripe fruit, flowers and sometimes a hint of brioche.
The winery is now run by the Lunelli family, who continue the tradition of high quality and have expanded the brand internationally. Ferrari's wines have won numerous awards and are often chosen for prestigious occasions. With a commitment to sustainability and quality, Ferrari remains a symbol of Italian sparkling wine on a global level.
