Kruger Rumpf

Weingut Kruger-Rumpf is a German wine estate located in the Nahe wine region. It was founded in 1790 and is currently run by the family's 10th generation. The estate has 35 hectares of vineyards spread across 30 different plots, all located in the steep slopes of the Nahe Valley.

The vineyards are planted with a variety of grape varieties including Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau. The estate's focus is on producing high-quality Riesling wines, which are known for their elegance, complexity, and aging potential.

The winemaking process at Weingut Kruger-Rumpf is traditional and focused on minimal intervention to allow the unique characteristics of each vineyard to shine through in the wines. Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted to ensure only the best fruit is used. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks or large oak barrels, depending on the wine.

The estate produces a range of different wines, from dry to sweet, as well as some sparkling wines. Some of their most notable wines include the Riesling "Munsterer Pittersberg" and "Munsterer Rheinberg" from the Munsterer Valley, as well as the "Schiefer" Riesling from the Schieferlay vineyard. Weingut Kruger-Rumpf's wines have received numerous awards and accolades over the years and are highly regarded by wine critics and enthusiasts alike.
