Franz Keller

Weingut Franz Keller

Franz Keller is a leading winery located in the Baden region in southwestern Germany. The winery is run by the Keller family, who have been growing wine in this beautiful area at the foot of the Black Forest for generations.

Franz Keller's vineyards cover approximately 15 hectares and are located on the sunny slopes along the Kaiserstuhl, one of the warmest and most sun-drenched wine regions in Germany. The soils range from volcanic rock to limestone and sandstone, providing an excellent base for cultivating a wide range of grape varieties.

The winery is known for its focus on quality and sustainability, with a commitment to organic and biodynamic viticultural practices. By treating nature and the terroir respectfully, they strive to produce wines that reflect the unique character of the Kaiserstuhl and the grape varieties that grow there.

Franz Keller produces a wide range of wines, ranging from fresh and fruity white wines to complex and elegant red wines. Their range includes Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and Riesling, as well as some sparkling and dessert wines.

With a legacy of more than 150 years of craftsmanship and an ongoing commitment to excellence, Franz Keller remains a leading winery in Baden and an ambassador of the German winemaking tradition, expressing the beauty and diversity of the Kaiserstuhl region in every bottle.
