Provence

Provence wines

Provence is a wine region in the south of France, known for its dry and crisp rosé wines. The region also produces some white and red wines, but rosé is the star of the show in Provence.

Rosé wines from Provence are mainly made from the grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre. They are dry, crunchy and refreshing, with delicate flavors of red berries, citrus and spices. These wines are perfect for sipping on a hot summer day or pairing with seafood, salads and light dishes.

In addition to rosé, Provence also produces some white wines, mainly from the Vermentino and Rolle grape varieties. These wines are fresh and crisp, with aromas of citrus, green apple and spices.

The red wines of Provence are made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes and are often full and complex, with aromas of dark fruit, spices and herbs.

In general, the wines of Provence are known for their elegance, balance and versatility.
