Sables Blonds is a Loire winemaker with a passion for fresh and pure wines Sables Blonds is a winery in the Loire Valley in France, founded by Fabienne Raviche and Philippe Angier. They share a passion for making fresh, pure wines that reflect the unique characteristics of their terroir.
The Sables Blonds vineyards cover approximately 20 hectares and are located in the Touraine and Vouvray appellations. They work with traditional grape varieties from the Loire, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
Fabienne and Philippe believe in a minimal intervention wine growing philosophy. They use no herbicides or pesticides, and harvest the grapes manually to ensure quality. In the cellar, the wines are fermented with natural yeasts and undergo minimal filtration and sulfite addition.
The Sables Blonds wines are known for their freshness, minerality and purity. The Sauvignon Blancs are expressive with citrus and herbal aromas, while the Chenin Blancs range from dry to sweet and show notes of white fruit, honey and minerals. The red wines, made from Cabernet Franc and Malbec, are elegant and fruity with soft tannins.
