Domaine Begude

Domaine Begude is a winery located in the Limoux region of southwestern France, near the Pyrenees. The winery is owned and operated by James and Catherine Kinglake, who purchased the estate in 2003 and have since transformed it into a leading producer of organic and biodynamic wines.

The vineyards of the winery are located at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters, which ensures cool temperatures and allows the grapes to ripen slowly. The vineyards are planted with different grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Domaine Begude is committed to organic and biodynamic viticultural practices, which prioritize the health of the soil and ecosystem. The winery's wines are made with minimal intervention, bringing out the natural flavors and aromas of the grapes.

The winery produces a range of wines, including white, rosé and red, as well as sparkling wines. The winery's flagship wine is called "Terroir 11300", a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier grapes. This wine has a pale golden color and aromas of citrus and white flowers, with a fresh and crisp palate and a long, mineral finish.
