Appellation Petit-Chablis

Petit-Chablis is the youngest and most accessible of the Chablis appellations. This white wine, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, offers a fresh and fruity introduction to the characteristic taste of Chablis.

The vineyards of Petit-Chablis are often located at lower altitudes and have less chalky soil than those of the larger appellations. As a result, Petit-Chablis has a slightly less pronounced mineral taste than its 'big brothers'. The wine is young and fruity, with aromas of green apple, citrus and sometimes a hint of minerality. Thanks to its lively acidity, Petit-Chablis is wonderfully fresh and refreshing.

Petit-Chablis is an excellent choice as an aperitif or with light dishes such as shellfish, white fish and fresh salads. Due to its accessible price and fresh taste, it is a popular choice for both novice and experienced wine lovers.
