Domaine Jean Collet & Fils is a family-owned winery located in the Chablis appellation in Burgundy. The history of the estate dates back to the 1950s, and since then three generations of Collet have worked to produce high-quality Chablis wines. The estate has approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, which extend over several terroirs, including prestigious Premier Cru and Grand Cru plots.
Jean Collet & Fils produces wines with a strong focus on the terroir, meaning that each cuvée reflects the unique character of the soil and microclimate. The vineyards are planted with Chardonnay, the grape that is famous in Chablis, and the winemaking combines traditional methods with modern techniques to find a balance between freshness, minerality and complexity.
The estate produces both Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines, with names such as Les Clos, Vaillons, and Montée de Tonnerre. Their wines are known for their lively acidity, mineral character and refined fruitiness, typical of Chablis. Since 2016, the domain has been certified for organic viticulture, which underlines the family's commitment to sustainable agriculture and respect for nature.
