Morgon

Morgon

The Morgon Cru, overlooking the Mont du Py, is the largest of the Beaujolais crus. The famous Côte du Py consists of decomposed shale. The wines of the appellation offer aromas of stone fruit such as sour cherries, with notes of violet and kirsch. Their delicate tannins promise optimal aging.

Produced by 250 winegrowers, Morgon wines draw their strength from the Villié-Morgon terroir from which the appellation takes its name. This famous Beaujolais cru embodies an exceptional strength that reveals its secrets after a few years. Morgon wines, deep garnet red in color, arouse curiosity and attract fine gourmets.
