Weingut Wieninger

Wieninger is a family-owned winery located in Vienna, Austria. It was founded in 1966 by Fritz Wieninger Sr., and today is run by his son Fritz Wieninger Jr. The winery is known for producing high-quality wines from traditional Austrian grape varieties, as well as experimenting with international varieties.

Wieninger's vineyards are located in some of the best sites in Vienna, including the Bisamberg, Nussberg, and Rosengartl vineyards. The winery has a strong commitment to sustainability, and uses organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard.

Some of the most notable wines produced by Wieninger include their Wiener Gemischter Satz, a field blend of multiple grape varieties that is a specialty of Vienna, as well as their Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The winery also produces red wines, including Zweigelt and Pinot Noir, and dessert wines made from botrytized grapes.
