Sattlerhof

Sattlerhof

Sattlerhof is a family-owned winery located in Gamlitz, in the heart of the Südsteiermark wine region in Austria. The winery has a long history of producing high-quality wines from traditional grape varieties of the region such as Sauvignon Blanc, Morillon (Chardonnay), Gelber Muskateller (Yellow Muscat), and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc).

Sattlerhof's vineyards are located on steep hillsides, with a range of soil types and microclimates. The winery focuses on sustainable vineyard practices and uses natural yeasts for fermentation, resulting in wines with a distinct sense of place and terroir.

Some of Sattlerhof's most famous wines include their Sauvignon Blancs, which are known for their elegant, mineral-driven style with flavors of citrus, stone fruit, and herbs. The winery also produces a range of other white wines, as well as some reds such as Zweigelt and Blauer Wildbacher.

In addition to their focus on high-quality wines, Sattlerhof is also committed to preserving the environment and has been certified as a sustainable winery since 2017. They use solar power and have implemented several other energy-saving measures to reduce their carbon footprint.
