Weingut Gattinger is located in the picturesque Wachau valley, on the steep slopes along the Danube. Since 1998, Andreas Gattinger has managed this family business with passion and dedication. The vineyards extend over 16 hectares, with a focus on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling grapes.
Gattinger is known for his pursuit of perfection. The wines are characterized by finesse, elegance and a mineral richness typical of the Wachau. Andreas works closely with nature and allows his wines to ferment naturally, without artificial additives.
Gattinger's vineyards are divided into several terroirs, each with its unique character. The Lössach vineyard, located on loess soils, produces powerful and complex wines. The Steinriegel vineyard, on granite soils, produces elegant and mineral wines.
