Argentinian Torrontes

Argentine Torrontes wines

Torrontés is a white grape variety that is primarily grown in Argentina. It is believed to be a cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Criolla Chica, two grape varieties that are native to Argentina.

Torrontés is known for its aromatic and floral characteristics, with flavors of peach, apricot, and citrus. It is used to produce both still and sparkling wines, and is particularly well-suited to the high-altitude vineyards of Argentina's Salta and Cafayate regions. Torrontés is often described as the signature white wine grape of Argentina.
