Williams & Humbert Drysack Medium is an amber colored wine with intense aromas reminiscent of dried nuts. In the taste this sherry is full and balanced. It has a low acidity and a slightly sweet taste in the mouth.
Maturation takes place by oxidation for at least six years, yielding a light or medium sweet oloroso.
Delicious wine, suitable as an aperitif or with pasta.
Williams & Humbert Drysack Medium is a delicious sherry from the Andalusia region of Spain. This sherry is made from Palomino and Pedro Ximénez grapes by Bodegas Williams & Humbert.
Recommended serving temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
Bodegas Williams & Humbert was founded in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a great admirer and connoisseur of sherry products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations. Since then they have kept some of the original wines and brandies (soleras) in high quality oak barrels. These Soleras form the basis of the development and aging of every sherry and cognac produced at Bodegas Williams & Humbert.
They were the first to launch an organic Vintage Fino made from 100% organically grown Palomino grapes. To fortify this wine, organic alcohol is used. This project is in the hands of winemaker Paola Medina. She holds a degree in chemistry plus a master's degree in viticulture and winemaking from the universities of Cadiz and Madrid.
