Domaine Romanesca

Domaine Romanesca

Domaine Romanesca is a family business in Beaujolais, France. Today the domain is managed by Antoine, Olivier (twin brothers) and Lucrèce (Olivier's wife). They are all in their thirties and want to maintain the working methods of previous generations, but also give an innovative impulse to the domain.

The domain has vineyards in the various crus of Beaujolais, including Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Juliénas and Morgon. The vineyards are located on steep slopes, at an altitude of 250 to 400 meters above sea level. The soil is rich in clay and sandstone.

The wines of Domaine Romanesca are made according to traditional methods. The grapes are harvested manually and fermented in open barrels. The wines then mature in oak barrels.

The wines of Domaine Romanesca are elegant and refined. They have a nice structure and a long aftertaste. The wines are suitable for drinking young, but can also be aged well.
