Domaine Weinbach Pinot Blanc Reserve

Weinbach Pinot Blanc Reserve is clear, light yellow in color. The nose has aromas of grapefruit, ripe pear, peach and wild flowers. In the taste palette notes of lime, grannysmith apples, again pear and a slightly salty touch, which are accompanied by a mineral aftertaste with good fresh acidity.

The grapes that come from the Clos des Capucins are hand-picked very selectively for optimal ripeness. In the vinification cellar the bunches are pressed in their entirety extremely gently and a spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with wild (grape-like) yeasts is allowed to take place in large old oak casks. After about 8 months of maturing, the wines are bottled without clarification or filtering. This entire process follows strict biodynamic rules and regulations.

Delicious as an aperitif and with salads, trout with almonds, quiche lorraine, white asparagus in cream sauce, veal, chicken or turkey in white wine sauce and mild Asian dishes.
