The wine is made from grapes of the Aglianico grape variety, which is very characteristic of the Irpinia region and is known for producing powerful and complex red wines.

This wine is produced from only Aglianico grapes from a 9 hectare vineyard located in the municipality of Castelfranci (province of Avellino) at 500 meters above sea level. The grapes, once destemmed, macerate for 10 days in stainless steel tanks and then mature in cement tanks and terracotta amphorae.
