Vietti Barbera d'Alba Scarrone
Vietti Barbera d'Alba Scarrone, a famous wine from Piemonte Italy, has an intense, almost opaque color. Very aromatic with floral accents, ripe black fruit, earthy notes, undergrowth and licorice. Intense, well-structured, robust, concentrated and complex. Long, gripping finale.
Vinification: 8 days in stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation at 26/28°C. At the start of malolactic fermentation, the young wine is transferred to French oak barriques. The wine stays in these barrels for 16 months, after which it goes back to stainless steel tanks for 2 months for assembly and clarification. Bottled unfiltered.
