Stellenbosch Vineyards Credo Chardonnay is an elegant and complex white wine from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that come from selected vineyards in the Stellenbosch Valley. The grapes are picked manually and then fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
The color of the wine is light gold with green hues. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of citrus fruits, stone fruit, peach, apricot and honey. Hints of vanilla, toast and butter come from the oak aging. In the mouth the wine is full and powerful with good acidity. The aftertaste is long and persistent with notes of minerals and citrus fruits.
The wine has won several awards, including a Gold Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 and a Trophy at the International Wine Challenge 2023.
