Stellenbosch Vineyards Bushvine Pinotage is a powerful and fruity red wine from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The wine is made from 100% Pinotage grapes that come from old bush vines. These vines are untrained and grow in their natural form, which ensures lower yields and higher quality grapes.
The color of the wine is deep purple with ruby red tones. The nose is intense and fruity with aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherries, plums and raspberries. Hints of vanilla, toast and spices come from the oak aging.
In the mouth the wine is full and fruity with soft tannins and good acidity. The aftertaste is long and persistent with notes of chocolate and tobacco.
This wine has won several awards, including a Silver Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 and a Commendation at the International Wine Challenge 2023.
