Stark-Condé Wines is a renowned winery located in the Jonkershoek Valley, a sub-region of Stellenbosch, South Africa. The winery was founded by Hans and Midori Schroder in 1998 and is named after two tributaries of the Eerste River, Stark and Condé, that flow through the estate.
Stark-Condé Wines has quickly established itself as a producer of premium wines with a strong focus on quality and terroir expression. The winery covers approximately 50 acres of vineyards, where they grow a variety of grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chenin Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Their wines are carefully harvested by hand and vinified in the cellar with great attention to detail. Stark-Condé is known for producing wines with a balanced structure, rich flavors and remarkable depth, which well reflect the unique terroir of the Jonkershoek Valley.
