Santa Cruz Cueva del Chamán Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine from the D.O. Almansa in Spain. The wine is produced by Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera, a cooperative that has been making wine in the region since 1947.
The wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The grapes are grown on vineyards at an altitude of 850 to 1050 meters above sea level. The climate in the region is continental, with warm summers and cold winters. The grapes are harvested manually and then destemmed and crushed. The wine then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for several months.
The Santa Cruz Cueva del Chamán Sauvignon Blanc has a bright, fresh yellow color with green highlights. The wine has an intense nose with aromas of citrus fruits, passion fruit, pineapple and grass. The taste is fresh and fruity with a lively acidity. The wine has a long, persistent aftertaste.
