Salentein Barrel Selection Pinot Noir is a delicious Argentinian Pinot Noir wine from Bodegas Salentein. The vineyards are located in the heart of Alto Valle de Uco, Argentina, over 1200 meters above sea level. The soil consists of coarse rock, which provides perfect water drainage. The nights are cool due to descending air from the Andes and the days are sunny and warm. All this gives the wine its unique fruity and ripe characteristics. The grapes are picked by hand. A combination of modern and traditional techniques is used.
A fine, transparent red Pinot Noir. A sultry aroma of sun-dried cherries and a fine sweetness with a hint of spice in the nose. In the taste, warm red fruit, especially cherries and blackcurrants, is reflected, which gives a jam-like sensation. Full and mild with sunny spices, cinnamon and vanilla.
Nice wine in combination with cheeses and or pasta dishes.
