Rocas de Seña is the second wine from the prestigious Chilean winery Viña Seña, produced in the Aconcagua Valley. This wine embodies the same dedication to quality and expression of terroir as the iconic Seña, but with a more approachable character. Rocas de Seña is a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Syrah, and reflects the biodiversity of the vineyards and the unique microclimate of the region.

The wine has a ruby ​​red color and offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper, cedar and a touch of chocolate. On the palate it is full, juicy and well balanced, with soft tannins and a fresh acidity that provide a long and refined finish. Rocas de Seña has enough structure to age for several years, but can also be drunk young.

Wine - Food pairing

Rocas de Seña pairs perfectly with grilled meats, such as entrecote or lamb chops, but is also an excellent accompaniment to stews and meat dishes with rich sauces. For a vegetarian alternative, dishes with grilled mushrooms or eggplant go well with the earthy tones of the wine. A medium-matured cheese, such as a Manchego or Gouda cheese, is also a good choice.
