Bodegas Faustino
Bodegas Faustino is a Spanish winery known worldwide for its quality wines from the Rioja region. Bodegas Faustino has a long history in viticulture, dating back to 1861, when it was founded by Eleuterio Martinez Arzok.
The winery is still managed by the Martinez family and is considered one of the most prestigious and traditional wine producers in Rioja. They have an extensive vineyard in different sub-regions of Rioja where they grow high quality grapes such as Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Viura.
Bodegas Faustino is best known for its red wines, especially the Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva wines. These wines are often made from a blend of different grape varieties, with Tempranillo usually being the main component. The Crianza wines are aged for a shorter time than the Reservas and Gran Reservas, resulting in wines with different styles and characteristics.
The Reserva wines are aged for at least a number of years, part of which in oak barrels, which provides extra complexity and maturation.
