Quinta dos Murças Minas is a refined wine from the Douro Valley, produced by the renowned winery Quinta dos Murças. Named after the five water springs (minas) on the estate, this wine embodies the vitality and life of the vineyards. The vineyards are located on terraces on the right bank of the Douro River, at altitudes ranging from 110 to 300 meters above sea level, which contributes to the complexity of the wine.

The wine is a blend of native Portuguese grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca and Tinta Cão. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruity aromas. The wine is then aged for 9 months in French oak barrels, which contributes to its structure and depth.

Quinta dos Murças Minas has a deep ruby red color with purple hues and offers an aroma of ripe red and black fruits, violets and subtle spices. On the palate the wine is full and juicy, with concentrated flavors of fruit, herbs and a hint of chocolate. The tannins are firm but well integrated, and the finish is long and elegant with a mineral freshness.
