Piper-Heidsieck Brut
This signature cuvée of the House is a round and vibrant non-vintage Cuvée Brut recalling the rich variety of its blend of 100 crus from across the patchwork of Champagne vineyards. Just like a self-assured romantic character with a strong and chatty personality, this champagne teases and allures us with its festive, light-drenched, pale gold shimmer and joyful display of neat, lively bubbles.
Notes of almond and fresh hazelnut accompany the precise ascent of its bubbles. It is lively, subtle and light, leaving a deliciously incisive sensation of smoothness, marked by the pureness of fresh pear and apple and a delicate hint of citrus fruits. A harmonious mixture of bright, crunchy pomelo, blonde grapes and juicy white fruits creates the delightfully surprising sensation of lightness embraced by the structure and depth from the Pinot Noir; all beautifully balanced.
Wine - Food Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, delicious with crustaceans, shellfish or raw fish in salads, with citrus dressing.
Piper-Heidsieck
The Champagne house Piper-Heidsieck is one of the oldest wineries, founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck. At the request of Queen Marie-Antoinette, he presents his wines in the house of Versailles. These were popular and soon his wines were served in royal houses all over the world. When Florens-Louis Heidsieck dies, his widow marries Henri-Guillaume Piper and thus Piper-Heidsieck is born.
The quality of the wines is today guaranteed by the cellar masters, Regis Camus and Severine Frerson. Regis Camus has been named "Best Winemaker of the Year" 8 years in a row. Their knowledge and expertise has ensured that Piper-Heidsieck is the most awarded Champagne house of this century.
A well-known Piper-Heidsieck fan was Marilyn Monroe and since 1990 the brand has been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival. In addition to well-known movie stars, the brand has also collaborated exclusively with some great designers, for example: Jean-Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf and Christian Louboutin.
