Penley Estate Mythology Atlas Shiraz has aromas of raspberry, licorice, plum and spice giving way to a sweet, fruity core, complemented by cocoa notes and crisp tannins. Hints of black pepper are combined with a hint of cinnamon and star anise. Creamy notes of oak support the concentrated fruit and add extra complexity. Atlas is an ideal accompaniment to dishes, from pasta to roasted cauliflower and pork belly. This wine is excellent to drink now, but your patience will certainly be rewarded after a few extra years in the cellar.
The Mythology wine series began with Phoenix, the beautiful bird that rises from the ashes. Among other things, it symbolizes rebirth or renewal. But the name Phoenix actually comes from the name of the distillery that was bought by Douglas & Frank Tolley.

Penley Estate is an Australian winery based in Coonawarra, a renowned wine region in South Australia. The winery was founded by Kym Tolley, a member of a family with a long history in viticulture, in 1988.
