Penley Estate

Penley Estate is an Australian winery based in Coonawarra, a renowned wine region in South Australia. The winery was founded by Kym Tolley, a member of a family with a long history in viticulture, in 1988.

Coonawarra is known for its excellent wine production, especially for red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. The area has a special terroir with a special soil called "terra rossa," an iron-rich, limestone-like clay soil that is ideal for viticulture. This gives the wines from Coonawarra their distinctive character and complexity.

Penley Estate has established itself as a leading winery in Coonawarra, producing a wide range of wines, with a main focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. In addition to red wines, Penley Estate also produces some white wines, including Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
