Penley Estate is an Australian winery based in Coonawarra, a renowned wine region in South Australia. The winery was founded by Kym Tolley, a member of a family with a long history in viticulture, in 1988.

The area has a special terroir with a special soil called "terra rossa," an iron-rich, limestone-like clay soil that is ideal for viticulture.
