Penley Estate HELIOS Cabernet Sauvignon is powerful yet understated, the combination of dark fruit, savory notes and concentrated tannins results in a pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. A complex nose full of cassis, mulberry, violet and licorice are supported by French oak. The palate is bold, generous and seductive, driven by a core of juicy fruit and a savory texture of tannins that provide excellent length.
This is a wine of incredible depth, complexity and finesse (Kate Goodman winemaker).
The logo on the label of the High Estate wine series is the representation of the sun. Winemaking is not really a science, nor a recipe. It is feeling, all senses are needed, looking for the key to making the best wine. It is often referred to as black art.

Penley Estate
Penley Estate is an Australian winery based in Coonawarra, a renowned wine region in South Australia. The winery was founded by Kym Tolley, a member of a family with a long history in viticulture, in 1988.
Coonawarra is known for its excellent wine production, especially for red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. The area has a special terroir with a special soil called "terra rossa," an iron-rich, limestone-like clay soil that is ideal for viticulture. This gives the wines from Coonawarra their distinctive character and complexity.
Penley Estate has established itself as a leading winery in Coonawarra, producing a wide range of wines, with a main focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. In addition to red wines, Penley Estate also produces some white wines, including Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
