In the glass, Pedro Parra Monk Cinsault presents itself with a deep, ruby red color that reflects the intensity and richness of the wine. The bouquet is intriguing and seductive, with lush aromas of ripe red berries, juicy cherries, and subtle hints of spices, such as black pepper and cinnamon, which are complemented by hints of earthy and floral nuances.

Pedro Parra y Familia

Pedro Parra y Familia is a winery in Chile, founded by the passionate winemaker Pedro Parra, also known as "Dr. Terroir". Located in the Itata Valley, Pedro focuses on making unique wines that reflect the character of the Chilean terroir.

Pedro Parra has more than 15 years of experience as a wine consultant around the world. In 2004, he founded his own winery with the mission to create wines that are less processed and more focused on expressing their origins.

Instead of international grape varieties, Pedro Parra chooses old, indigenous grapes such as País and Cinsault. He believes that these grapes are perfectly adapted to the Chilean climate and terroir, and can produce wines of exceptional quality and authenticity.

Pedro Parra is a forerunner of the "New Chile" movement, which is committed to wines with less intervention and more focused on terroir expression. He embraces natural vinification techniques, minimizes the use of chemicals in the vineyards and allows his wines to spontaneously ferment with native yeasts.
