Azienda Agricola Negretti is a winery located in Piedmont, Italy. This family-run winery is located in the Langhe region, an area famous for its excellent wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco.
Azienda Agricola Negretti includes 13 hectares of vineyards in La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Roddi. The wines are made exclusively from home-grown grapes.
Respect for the vineyard is the motto here. The emphasis at Negretti is on the work in and on the vineyards, only 10% is spent on the cellar. Extensive year-round care and a green harvest results in extremely low yields, between the end of June and the end of July, a percentage of excess fruit is cut away. All grapes are picked by hand and carefully handled in small boxes. Naturally, the unfiltered wines are made and aged in a spotlessly clean cellar.
The trophy cabinet of the Negretti wines shows the international appreciation for their great Nebbiolo wines. The Barolos win prizes time and time again.
