Azienda Agricola Negretti includes 13 hectares of vineyards in La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Roddi. The wines are made exclusively from home-grown grapes.
Respect for the vineyard is the motto here. The emphasis at Negretti is on the work in and on the vineyards, only 10% is spent on the cellar. Extensive year-round care and a green harvest results in extremely low yields, between the end of June and the end of July, a percentage of excess fruit is cut away. All grapes are picked by hand and carefully handled in small boxes. Naturally, the unfiltered wines are made and aged in a spotlessly clean cellar.
The trophy cabinet of the Negretti wines shows the international appreciation for their great Nebbiolo wines. The Barolos win prizes time and time again.
