The Nadal Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine from the Italian family business Nadal Grandi Vini, located in the Piave Valley in Northern Italy. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine thrives in the region's mild climate and mineral-rich soils.
The grapes for the Nadal Cabernet Sauvignon are carefully selected and hand-picked at the optimal moment of ripeness. After destemming and gentle pressing, the must undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration period of 15 to 20 days to develop the color, tannins and structure of the wine. The wine then matures for 12 to 18 months in wooden barrels, which provides extra complexity, finesse and roundness.
The Nadal Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet red color with purple hues. The nose shows aromas of black fruit, cassis, blackberries, leather, tobacco, vanilla and spices. The taste is powerful, structured and well balanced with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, black fruit, plums, chocolate, and a long, complex aftertaste.
