Montes Twins Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon
Montes Twins is a sultry, soft red wine from Chile. Twins red blend gets the best out of a combination of four grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine structure and complexity. This goes hand in hand with the freshness of Tempranillo. Add to that the volume and softness of Syrah, and the texture and intensity of Carmenère, and the wine is complete.
The final wine has all kinds of smells and tastes: intensely ripe black and red fruit, such as blackberries, plums and figs, supplemented with seductive sweet spices such as vanilla and cloves, the typical South American dulce de leche and something dairy. Also some toasted aromas, the result of 12 months in French oak barrels. With soft tannins and lively acidity.

Delicious with red meat, dishes with lamb, a shelf with charcuterie, white meat or with a shelf full of cheeses. And for the lover of firmer wines, it is also very tasty in itself.

Viña Montes
Montes' story seems like a dream but has become more and more reality. In 1987, Aurelio Montes and Douglas Murray, both with extensive expertise in the world of wine, set out to realize their dream of producing top quality wines far superior to those produced in Chile up to that point. In 1988 two more partners joined, Alfredo Vidaurre and Pedro Grand, each of whom made their special and complementary contribution, thus giving birth to Viña Montes.
Montes is one of the absolute top producers in Chile and Aurelio Montes was recently voted Chile's most influential winemaker. Montes has five vineyards. Three of them are in Curico Valley and two in Colchagua Valley. In 2004, a completely new winery was built in Alpalta, which was set up according to the Chinese Fengh Shui philosophy. Aurelio Jr. has now also earned his spurs as a winemaker and together with his father he forms a close and successful team.
