Mehofer Zweigelt Neudegg has characteristic notes of cherries and red currants. Subtle cedar wood aromas combined with spiciness and hints of dark chocolate. Creamy and soft on the palate in combination with a bomb of fruit and velvety tannins.
Neudegg is not only the northernmost village in the Wagram wine region, but is also located between the higher villages. The hand-picked and carefully selected grapes grow on deep loess soils, about 320 m above sea level. Together with a particularly calm climate and very little intervention in the cellar, Neudegg wines are charming, elegant and have a lot to say. And of course they are all organic.
