The Langenberg vineyard is located on the south-facing slopes near Saint Hyppolyte. Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir are planted here interchangeably (complantation). The soil here mainly consists of weathered granite and is poor in nutrients. The grape vines have to work hard to get enough water and nutrients. Wines from this vineyard are complex, with a slightly salty minerality.
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed. The wine ferments using natural yeasts and then matures on the lees for 12 months. Complex and pure on the nose, with light aromas of white fruit and honey, enveloped by a striking minerality. Aromatic and long and fresh in taste, where the salty minerality gives the wine an exciting 'touch'.
