Madaudo Sicilia Illustrata Nero d’Avola

The Madaudo Sicilia Illustrata Nero d'Avola is a powerful and expressive wine, born under the warm Sicilian sun. Produced by the renowned Madaudo winery, located in the Belice Valley, this wine embodies the unique terroirs and rich traditions of this volcanic island.

The Nero d'Avola grapes, grown on fertile soils in the hills of Menfi, extract strength and finesse from the Sicilian soil. After careful manual harvesting and vinification, the wine matures for 18 months in a combination of oak barrels and barriques.

The Madaudo Sicilia Illustrata Nero d'Avola has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is a sultry symphony of aromas, with nuances of ripe cherries, plums, mulberries, blackcurrants, vanilla, tobacco, leather and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth the wine is powerful and structured with velvety tannins. The ripe fruit notes are reflected in the taste, accompanied by hints of chocolate, minerality and roasted aromas. The aftertaste is long, warm and persistent.

Wine - Food pairing

A full-bodied wine that goes well with red meat dishes and hearty pasta dishes, lasagna with mushrooms and ham and various cheeses.
