Los Corrales de Moncalvillo Maturana Tinta is a red wine produced using the Maturana Tinta grape variety. Maturana Tinta is a native grape variety mainly found in the La Rioja region of Spain. It is a relatively rare grape variety that has attracted attention for its potential to produce wines with character and complexity.
Los Corrales de Moncalvillo Maturana Tinta has a deep red cherry color. This wine has intense aromas of red fruit, chocolate, black pepper and earthy notes. A full body, medium acidity and a delicious long aftertaste.
After manual harvest, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in 500 liter French oak barrels. The wine then matures for another 12 months in new 225 liter French oak barrels and six months in the bottle.
