López de Haro Rioja Crianza has a deep red cherry color with garnet hues. In the nose aromas of ripe red fruit and liqueur combined with coffee, vanilla and balsamic nuances from barrel maturation. In the mouth the wine is velvety with sweet and ripe tannins and a pleasant, tasty finish.
Rioja Crianza is made from Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano grapes, from old vineyards with very low production. The vineyards are located on the poor land of the terraces of the Ebro in the area of San Vincente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). The grapes are picked by hand in the second and third week of October.
From reception of the grapes in the cellar, one works with gravity. That means no pumps are used, which is better for the grapes and ultimately the wine. The wine is aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.

Delicious with Spanish ham and sausage types, beef dishes and tomato risotto with chorizo.
