The term "Bushvine" refers to the way the Pinotage grapes are grown, which is on old, non-irrigated vines that are trained according to the "bush vine" or "bush stick" method. This traditional way of growing results in a lower yield per vine, but promotes the quality of the grapes, resulting in wines with a deeper concentration of flavors and aromas.
