The grapes for the Coup de Foudre come from two plots with 60 year old vines. The vineyards are characterized by granite soils and a sloping position. This ensures optimal drainage and ripeness of the grapes. The vinification is aimed at preserving the natural fruit notes of the Gamay grape. The grapes are harvested and destemmed by hand. The fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with native yeasts. The wine is then aged for 8-10 months in a combination of new and used oak barrels.

Domaine Les Bertrand Fleurie Coup de Foudre is a light-footed red wine with a bright ruby red color. The wine has aromas of red fruit (cherry, raspberry), flowers (violets) and spices. The taste is fruity, juicy and fresh with a soft tannin structure. The wine has a long, persistent aftertaste.
