Lenné Pinot Noir is a fine wine of character, warm and medium-bodied, with a nice acidity. Cool nights but long warm days ensure that the red summer fruit retains all its freshness, but develops intensity and complexity in its flavour. The dark cherry fruit is juicy, ripe and progressive, with a spicy taste in the center.
It's the best of both worlds. The concentration of fruit in combination with a long aging, partly in oak barrels, gives it the typical Burgundy elegance, silkiness and a touch of earthy tannins.
Delicious as an aperitif or with lamb, smoked salmon, game birds such as quail or pheasant.
Lenné Pinot Noir is a delicious red wine from the Lenné winery from the Pfalz region of Germany. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes.
Recommended serving temperature between 14°C and 16°C.
Weingut Lenné is the brainchild of Sumi Gebauer and her husband Patrick Möllendorf. This wine couple met at a renowned wine company and the spark flew. Lenné wines come from the Palatinate.
The Palatinate wine region is located in the extreme southwest of Germany, adjacent to the French Alsace. White wine has been successfully made here for hundreds of years, but the excellent price-quality ratio of this red Pinot Noir is special.
