Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte
Château Smith Haut Lafitte has an 800-year history in Bordeaux. It was Du Boscq who planted the first vines in 1365 on a pebble-covered plateau called Lafitte. A few hundred years later, George Smith took over the estate and gave it his name plus the name of the plateau. Since 1990, Château Smith Haut Lafitte has been run by the Cathiard family.
