Le Dix de Los Vascos
Le Dix de Los Vascos is a prestigious red wine from Viña Los Vascos, located in the Colchagua Valley in Chile.
Le Dix de Los Vascos is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Carmenère grapes, carefully selected from the vineyard's best plots.
The wine is characterized by its deep ruby red color and complex aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberries, cherries and plums, mixed with subtle notes of spice, tobacco and cedar.
On the palate, Le Dix de Los Vascos reveals a full body with ripe and silky tannins. The taste is rich and concentrated, with intense fruity flavours, combined with elegant spicy and vanilla notes from the oak.
This wine was first made to celebrate 10 years of the Rothschilds as owner of Viña Los Vascos. It is aged for 18 months in new French oak. The wooden barrels, including a large proportion of barriques, come from Château Lafite-Rothschild's own cooperage.
