Las Niñas Mapuche Carmenère Syrah
Las Niñas Mapuche Carmenère Syrah is a Chilean red wine from the Colchagua Valley. The wine is a blend of 90% Carmenère and 10% Syrah grapes that grow on volcanic soils at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level.
The wine has a deep ruby red color. The nose is complex with aromas of red fruit, such as blackberries, plums and strawberries, combined with notes of herbs such as licorice, eucalyptus and cedar. In addition, subtle hints of coconut and cedar can also be recognized. The taste is full, rich and complex, with a good balance between fruit, acids and tannins. The wine has a long, persistent aftertaste.

Viña Las Niñas
Vina Las Niñas is a wine company in the Apalta Valley of Chile. The winery was founded in 1997 by three French families, who fell in love with the region during a trip to Chile. The vineyard is named after the families' three daughters.
In the local indigenous dialect, Apalta means “earthquake”, the land itself is shaped like a small horseshoe-shaped valley. Sheltered in the North, East and West by hills, up to a height of about 600 meters and bathed in the gentle breeze that blows between the mountain range of the Andes and the South Pacific. The Tinguiririca River marks the end of the valley south of Apalta. This river regulates the temperature and supplies the necessary water for irrigation. The soil is partly sandy clay, but also with a rocky volcanic mixture in other places, with average summer temperatures of around 23°C.
Little by little, Las Niñas has come to better understand the terroir to ensure the production of top quality grapes, allowing them to produce some of the most remarkable wines in Chile.
