Domaine La Croix Gratiot

Domaine La Croix Gratiot is a family business of about 30 hectares on Lake Etang de Thau in Languedoc, with full influence of the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean climate allows the grapes to fully ripen and further develop their characteristics during the winemaking process.

The wines of La Croix Gratiot have the expressiveness of the Languedoc, but are at the same time refined and balanced. Never does a wine of hers feel heavy.

Each Cuvée excels in purity, minerality and elegant fruit. A stream crosses the vineyard, its banks are covered with a wide variety of shrubs that help preserve biodiversity. They respect and work in harmony with nature and the environment. Mechanical weeding is preferable to using chemicals. On certain plots, every second row is grazed.

The red wines of La Croix Gratiot are full of flavour, with ripe red fruit, spicy notes and earthy nuances. They generally have a good structure, ripe tannins and a pleasant aftertaste. The white wines of La Croix Gratiot have fresh aromas of citrus fruits, peach and white flowers. They have a lively acidity and a nice balance between fruitiness and freshness. The rosé wines of La Croix Gratiot are refreshing and fruity, with notes of red berries and summer fruits.
