La Closerie de Camensac is the little brother (the 2nd wine) of Château Camensac. It is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This second wine smells wonderfully of black cherries and subtle notes of roasted coffee and vanilla. In the mouth the wine is powerful and full of flavor with notes of blackberries. The finish has a beautiful length and shows delicious fruit notes.
Château Camensac, like its neighbors (Château Belgrave & Château la Tour Carnet), borders the appellation St Julien. Built in the 18th century, the Château comprises a total of 75 hectares of vineyards. Unlike many other Châteaux in Bordeaux, the vineyards of Château Camensac are planted with only 2 varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%).
Château Camensac is a worthy 5ième Grand Cru Classé.
Tournedos bearnaise, game, extra matured Gouda cheese.
La Closerie de Camensac is a delicious French Haut-Médoc Bordeaux wine from winery Château Camensac from France. This wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.
Recommended serving temperature between 16 ° C and 18 ° C.
Château Camensac is a group of wine estates, based on the world-famous Château Lafite Rothschild, considered the best vineyard in Bordeaux even in the 18th century. Over the years, more wine estates were added, first in Bordeaux itself and then in Chile (Viña Los Vascos) and in the Corbières (Château d'Aussières).
All these wine estates are managed with the same care and dedication and the elegant, refined style of the wines is always paramount.
